Kimberly Sell
What do you need and expect in a Realtor?
I can and will deliver!
EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE:
I have been licensed and have worked in the industry for over twenty years, both as a
residential agent and a top-selling account executive for a real estate marketing company. I have personally (not part of an agent team) sold several hundred homes during my career. I use my strengths of communication and relationships, research and analysis, marketing, and negotiation to assist you during a purchase or sale.
KNOWLEDGE:
I am well-versed in all aspects of residential real estate including resales, new construction, distressed properties, land and corporate relocation. I work with many types of buyers, sellers and situations – from owner occupants to new and experienced investors, out-of-state owners, divorcees, probate, etc.. I am an associate broker and have multiple certifications including the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), a designation that requires such a commitment to education that less than 10% of all licensed agents complete the program. I attend continuing education classes and conferences regularly to
stay abreast of our ever-changing industry.
DEDICATION & SERVICE:
I only work with a handful of clients at a time so I can stay focused and committed to them. Their goals become my goals, which I work tirelessly to meet with bespoke service. I have a team of trusted professionals to help during every stage of the process, and we strive to make the buying or selling experience as pleasurable and stress-free as possible. This includes anticipating and resolving potential problems quickly and effectively.
SUCCESS:
While my tenure in the industry, market statistics and volume of closed homes speak to my success, I prefer to measure it through the satisfaction of my clients. Please read the reviews that a few of them have submitted so you can be confident in your decision to choose me as your real estate professional.
FUN: Last but certainly not least, I believe life (both at home and at work) is about love, joy, and connection, so I strive for a “high vibe in my tribe”. If you don’t embrace a similar mindset, then sadly, I am probably not the best agent for you. But if we are on the same page, and you want to partner with me to help achieve your real estate goals, expect that we will both enjoy our time together and have some laughs along the way!
And while the real estate process will be all about me getting to know you, if you are interested and want to know about me personally, here you go.....
I was born in east Tennessee (Maryville), but I've lived in Georgia so long that I think of myself as almost native. I grew up in metro Atlanta and have lived in Gwinnett, Fulton, Clarke and Jackson Counties. I graduated from Milton High in Alpharetta and attended both The University of Georgia in Athens (Go Dawgs!) and Georgia State University in Atlanta where I earned my BA with a major in economics and a double-minor in Latin and ancient history. I obtained my real estate license in 1994 and began selling new construction, then moved to the advertising sector of the industry and worked for over a decade as an account executive for The Real Estate Book. I jumped back into residential sales in 2008 with my husband’s company, The Sell Group, worked a few years at Coldwell Banker, and finally landed at Keller Williams. I enjoy working in real estate because I have the opportunity to meet, know and love so many wonderful people. I get to wear a lot of hats, and it’s never dull! Even after all these years, I still encounter surprises and new/interesting situations. Outside of real estate, of course my greatest love is my family. My husband, Shannon, is a builder/developer/real estate broker focused primarily on commercial and property management, private pilot, and owner/operator of a small local gun store in Hoschton where we live. We have two amazing young adult children, Kate and John. We travel together as much as possible and try to take at least one great trip each year. Some of our favorites include Banf National Park in Canada, Colorado in September, Yellowstone National Park, cruising around the southern tip of South America, and RVing throughout Alaska. For quick short trips we like to head to Panama City Beach or Jekyll Island for the best/easiest bicycle riding paths. In addition to traveling, my hobbies include reading and learning (I’m a perpetual student of life, spirituality, mindfulness and personal development), yoga/gym and all things health and fitness related, motorcycle riding (not driving, just riding on the back), and volunteering at our church, 12Stone. The rest of our family includes our two boykin spaniels (Colt and Sig) and our dwarf lop rabbit (Toffee). My daughter Kate also has two “career-changed” former guide dogs - a golden retriever (Pearce) and a black lab (Percy).
